2015 NCESA National Rankings
White Bear Sailors in Top 10
The National Class E Scow Association (NCESA) has released the 2015 National Rankings list. Two White Bear E Scow teams made the top ten this year. Charlie Igo (W-9) ranked 8th overall with a combined “best three regattas” score of 203 and Lee Alnes (W-25) ranked 9th with a combined “best three regattas” score of 203. In his first year in the E Scow, Wheeler Morris (W-41) ranked 22nd overall. All three teams were invited to the 2015 E Blue Chip Regatta at Pewaukee.
The National Rankings are computed by analyzing the results of 17 qualifying regattas held throughout the year. This year 189 boats from across the nation who attended one or more E Scow regattas were eligible to be ranked. In 2014, 204 boats were ranked, with Igo finishing 121st and Alnes in 13th.
Congratulations to the WBYC E fleet sailors on a great 2015 season!
